Cousins...

Hi Friends!  Here's a layout I did of my kids and the cousins.  I actually did this layout for a sketch challenge for Page Maps but I missed the deadline and then I saw this great color challenge at Life, Paper, Scrapbook and my layout fit the color scheme perfectly!!

Journal pocket!

I stamped the little owl and bird and colored them in.

The date will be filled in when I figure it out!!

Jordan...

Hi Friends!  I don't know about you but this month has been so busy and I'm going to be even busier the rest of the month...Ugh.  I really don't mean to complain I love to stay busy I just haven't had the time to get in my craft room this month as much as I had planned.  I did fit the second sketch challenge for Colorful Creations  in and I just love this layout of my little grandson Jordan.

I left the journal area open so my daughter can journal.

I didn't have paint so I used my white chalk ink behind my photo mat.  It's very subtle and I think I like that about it.

My Grandson's First Layout...HIMCR#145 Super Scraps Saturday

Hi Friends!  I have a special guest with me today!  I would like to introduce you to my precious grandson Isaiah who is almost 4.  You have seen many scrapbook layouts featuring him and his little brothers.  He has watched me over the years when I've had a deadline for a challenge.  The other day he said he wanted to make a scrapbook page and I thought why not!  So I gave him a photo of him and his brother riding in a little train at a festival we had in town.  The first thing he did was tear the white scrap paper and said he was going to put his picture on top!  He finished the page picking out some die cuts I had  and cutting up more scraps that he glued to the side of the page!

Here's Isaiah's first page!

He wanted to use Elmer's glue on his page.

He told me that he wrote happy birthday mommy and happy train birthday.

Here he is cheesing it up as he is showing off his page!  He was so excited that he showed his mommy his page when she came to pick him up!

I wanted to enter his first page into the challenge @ HIMCR#145 Super Scraps Saturday,

Cypress Gardens...

Hi Friends!  This is my second post of the day which you can see here.  I have been sorting through all my photos and trying to put them in photo boxes in order so I have been scrapping a lot of older photos.  It's been fun and I keep seeing photos that I can't wait to scrap.
For today's layout I used a sketch from Sketch ~n~ Scrap & combined it with a color challenge @ Color Me Scrappy.

Catch of the Day..

Hi Friends!  I had a great weekend getting together with friends to scrapbook on Saturday and just finished putting the finishing touches to my layout.  I'm using a sketch from Colorful Creations and joining it with a challenge @ Scrap The Girls that inspired my color combination because you were to do a girl layout using traditional boy colors.  The other challenge was @ The Paper Girls Challenge Blog and it was a theme challenge.  I chose the word daughter and my layout is of my daughter Cassie.

Freshman Volleyball...

Hi Friends!  Today I chose a sketch from Feeling Sketchy.  I was inspired by the sketch because I knew I could pull out a 5 X 7 photo.  Here is a layout of my daughter Cassie.  She made the freshman volleyball team her eighth grade year! This was the first year in our new high school.  The town just opened up the first high school and the next phase was to build the middle school.  So the first year in the new high school sent from 6th grade to sophomore year.  By the time we had a senior class our new middle school was built.  With that being said my two youngest got to play high school sports from 7th grade on.

 The Vellum didn't photograph well.

Who Me??? Hand Stitching...

Here's a layout of my grandson that I just couldn't resist scrapping. He has great big blue eyes and let me tell you he knows how to get his way and with his little smile it seems to work (shhh... what happens in  MaMaw's house stays at MaMaw's house!)  Just kidding he does work me but I only give in when I want to..hehehe.

Look at how innocent he looks!!!
