All Boy...Being Silly

Hi Friends!  I finished a layout for week 4 @ Let's Get Sketchy!  I just love their sketches!!  My layout is of my oldest grandson Isaiah.  He can be so silly at times and I love when I can capture those silly faces he makes!

A XOXO Scraplift...

Hi Friends!  I'm here today to share this month's scrap-lift challenge over on XOXO blog this month.
DT Michelle came up with the layout to scrap-lift.   This is a two pager and should be lots of fun to create.  You can choose to do either side or both.
Here's Michelle's layout-

For a scrap-lift challenge you don't have to copy everything about the layout you just pick whatever inspires you.  I was inspired to use similar photos which mimics the whole photo booth idea.  I also used the bracket with my title.

I combined my layout with the color challenge at Color Me Scrappy.  I chose the first block of colors.

Recipe- Kiwi Lane- Abbie Road 2A, 2B. 3A, 3B- Embosser- LiL Boss, Ranger-Glossy Accents, Ink- Martha Stewart, Opaque Marker- Martha Stewart, Washi Tape, Embossing Powder

I sure hope you'll join in on the fun!  Looking forward to see how you are inspired.
It's not to late to join in on the challenge you will have until May 31 to get those entries in.

Baby Boy...Love Giggle....

Hi Friends!  Have you seen all the great sketches this month @ Let's Get Sketchy.  I just loved week 3 and I had to do a layout right after I saw it.  I had a couple really cute pictures of my youngest grandson Caleb  smiling....love it!!  He is just the cutest little boy.  The only thing is that he can be very distracted by his brothers and I get a lot of blurry pictures.

I did hand and machine stitching on my layout.  I love the texture that it gives a page.

Chicago The Windy City...

Hi Friends!  I found a little time this week to work on a layout for Colorful Creations sketch challenge.  I pulled out a couple photos from years ago, it was fun to scrap the final two pictures "I think" ...from our trip to Chicago.  I know I don't scrap like I did all those years ago and to compare them side by side will be interesting.  I did a lot of fussy cutting on my layout.  All the buildings most of the title and the little taxis.  I'm really pleased how it turned out.

Little Dreamer...

Hi Friends!  What a beautiful day it is here is sunny south Florida!  I spent the morning with my grandsons at the pool.  Hope you all have had a great day as well.
For today's project I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches.  I just loved this sketch and had a great time creating a layout of my precious grandson Isaiah.  He was just 2 in this photo and seeing him now at almost 4 years old I can't believe how much he has grown.
