Enjoy...

Hi Friends!  I can't believe it is the last day of June...where has time gone?  I had a great weekend spending time with my daughter and her fiance this past weekend.  Hope you had a great weekend too!
For this layout I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy week 1 sketch.  I'm so glad that I was able to manage finding time this afternoon to work on it.  My layout is the last layout of my husband and grandson playing putt putt.  Yes I'm one of those who has to scrap almost all of the pictures!  It's funny that I say that because I have so many boxes and albums of photos that have not been scrapped!  I'll get there...right?  lol :)

He's A Natural Putter...

Hi Friends!  I have another layout from our Putt Putt Adventure.  I chose a sketch from Sketch ~N~Scrap and used the same papers to coordinate with the other layout I had posted.  My grandson Isaiah is a natural putter!  My husband and myself were floored when he made a hole in one on the first hole!

Fish Cove...

Hi Friends!  I have a layout using a sketch from Sketch ~N~ Scrap .  When I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to scrap.  I saw a Putt Putt hole instead of using the circle in the sketch.  I used some green paper that you would use on a train track landscape.  It gives my layout the perfect look of grass!  My husband & I took out oldest grand son Isaiah to dinner and Putt Putt.  This was his first time to play and he was a natural!

Date Night...

Hi Friends!  I'm here to share a layout using week 3 Let's Get Sketchy sketch.  I'm in love with the sketches they feature every week on the blog.  My only problem is finding time to work on each one.  This past December my husband and I took out oldest grandson Isaiah on a date night.  We went to Chili's for dinner and Putt Putt after.  I treasure all the special things we get to do with our grand kids.

An XOXO Reveal...

Hi Friends!  It's time for me to reveal my layout for the XOXO Scrapbooking scraplift challenge.  Hopefully we can inspire you to join in the challenge this month and have a chance to be GDT for a month.  Looking at this months scrap-lift layout I was inspired to pull out a photo similar to the one in the challenge and also to use printed paper.

Here's my layout-

Here I layered my photo mat on a thick piece of cardboard to have it floating off the page.

Ready to Roll...

Hi Friends!  If you didn't see the post on the Virtual Blog Hop click here.  Today's layout was created using the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy week 2.  I pulled out a photo from last year of Jordan going on one of his first bike rides.

I stitched though the title and on my banners.

Virtual Blog Hop...

Hi Friends! I received a message from a Co DT member for XOXO Scrapbooking , Michelle Perrini O'Driscoll. She asked me to participate in a virtual blog hop! I was very honored and said yes. I was to answer 4 questions.

1.) What are you working on? For me I have been working on organizing my scrap room. This seems to be a continual thing for me as I'm always looking for a better way to organize. I just purchased a new bookcase/cubby from Ikea and love how my photo books are able to stand straight up instead of lying flat!

I put tools in this cubby

Extra stamps in this cubby.

I have an empty cubby that I haven't quit figured out what to put in it.  Any suggestions?

2.) How does your work differ from others? I don't know how to describe my I tend to have my own style of simple/cutesy.

3.)Why do I create like I do? I love when I'm able to find spare time to get in my craft room and be creative. My family enjoys looking through the scrapbooks I create and relive the memories that I try to preserve.

4.) How does my creative process work? I first pick a sketch challenge I like and then choosing the photos I believe will work with it. Then I choose the paper and embellies. Sometimes a page comes together very quickly and other times I need to walk away from it and come back later with a fresh mind.

I would love for you to join in the scraplift challenge we have going on @ XOXO Scrapbooking this month! We have an awesome scraplift page by our GDT Joanne . I will be posting my scraplift layout later this week.

Cherished....

Hi Friends!  How do you start a layout?  Do you choose the sketch first or the pictures?  For me I usually start with the sketch, then I pull out the photos.
For this layout I chose a sketch from Life, Paper, Scrapbook.  I used an old family photo and paired it up with some paper I have had in my stash for a few years.

All Wet...

Hi Friends!  I don't know about you but I have been so busy lately.  I actually finished this layout last week but had no time to photograph it.  I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches.  My layout coordinates with the layout I posted before this one so I didn't title it.

Soak Up the Sun...

Hi Friends!  I have a layout to share with you today for Life, Paper, Scrapbook color mood board challenge.   Of course I was inspired by the colors in the challenge they are some of my favorite.

I rolled the banner down after I inked it and stapled.  I used Martha Stewart Opaque markers to add the dots.
