Rainy Day...

I've always wanted to do a rainy day layout and never had so when I went to visit my grand kids they were outside with the umbrella and I knew I had to get some photos.
I used the Sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap and instead of the flowers I decided to use raindrops instead.

I just had to use these cute little rainy ducks from Too Cute by Jessica.

Halloween..

Hello,  Have you ever cropped your photos and picked out your paper but then your stuck?   I'm very guilty of this.  I was inspired to use the sketch from Stick it Down and it worked out.  The pictures were so old that my grandsons have a new brother and they thought that Caleb was actually baby James.  I really have a lot to catch up on...lol.

The title was from Svg Cutting Files and that cool tree is from Miss Kate Cuttables

I flipped the sketch to make a 2 page spread.

Precious Baby Girl..

Today I have a sweet layout to share with you featuring my grand-daughter.  I was out of town when she was born and couldn't wait to see her.  I was so taken by how sweet she was and look at all the hair!  Love at first sight.
I used a sketch from Sketches in Thyme that suited my picture perfectly.
April 1 Sketch #367

The title Precious Baby Girl was from the Cricut Nursery Rhyme cartridge.

Tying in two different sketches to make a 2 page spread can work.  Don't be afraid when working with a sketch to adapt your style.  It's okay to change things up a bit.

My Favorite 3 Brothers

My Favorite 3 Brothers

Do you like to use 8 X 10 photos on your layouts?  I do!  Using large photos on a layout makes for a quick page so don't be afraid to pull those large photos out of your frames and scrap them.

The challenge over @ Sketches in Thyme was an enjoyable sketch and enabled me to pull out some of my older embellishments and use my Cricut using the basic shape feature.  Distressing layouts with ink can add a little interest to your layout as well.

As you can see I did flip the sketch.
