I was so excited to
see the Super Scraps Saturday challenge #115 at Hiding in My Craft Room! The challenge is to
use scraps. (Don't tell me I'm the only one known for saving every little
scrap!) I have saved all those little strips of paper that I trim off the
edges of my layouts when I mat them. Sometimes I use them for journal
strips and other than that, I just hoard them. Well I found another way to
use them.
So you've probably seen or
made a loomed pot holder, right? Well I think that is what my page looks
like and I LOVE it! It's so fun and a great way not to waste all those little
papers.
My box of paper strips.
I found strips of paper the same length and started to weave them together.
Here are my old loomed pot holders my kids made me. I still love and use them!
I can't believe how fast he's grown...or that he doesn't have chocolate all over his face!
As you can see I stitched around the edges of my weaved paper to hold it all together.
