Messy Face...

Hi Friends, I'm here to share a layout of....you guessed it..... my grandson, Isaiah.  He loves to help in the kitchen, especially when it's making dessert.  He knows I will let him lick the beater and as you can see most of it gets all over him!
I used a sketch from Sketch ~n~ Scrap for this layout.  Instead of using three photos I used 2 with one being taller.

Let's Make a Loomed Layout!

I was so excited to see the Super Scraps Saturday challenge #115 at Hiding in My Craft Room!  The challenge is to use scraps.  (Don't tell me I'm the only one known for saving every little scrap!)  I have saved all those little strips of paper that I trim off the edges of my layouts when I mat them.  Sometimes I use them for journal strips and other than that, I just hoard them.  Well I found another way to use them.

So you've probably seen or made a loomed pot holder, right?  Well I think that is what my page looks like and I LOVE it!  It's so fun and a great way not to waste all those little papers.

My box of paper strips.

I found strips of paper the same length and started to weave them together.

Here are my old loomed pot holders my kids made me.  I still love and use them!

I can't believe how fast he's grown...or that he doesn't have chocolate all over his face!

As you can see I stitched around the edges of my weaved paper to hold it all together.
