What a View...

Hi Friends!  Here's a summer layout to share today.  At my mom''s place in Florida there is this tree house that overlooks the river and it has a great view.  Of course I'm obsessed with svg cuts and really loved this flamingo from KaDoodle Bug Designs (tropical birds).  I thought she was bright and cheery and made a perfect addition to my layout.  The sketch challenge is @ Scrapping Everyday Miracles.

Bev Code created this layout and it was a fun one!

You are my Sunshine...

Hi Friends!  My layout today is using a sketch from Page Maps for a challenge @  DCWV.  I used a SVG cut from KaDoodle Bug Designs and wanted to play off my title and expand the rays of the sunshine.  I don't know about you but I could use some Sunshine right about now!  I live in Southwest Florida and we have been hit by rain for the last 3 weeks.  Usually the rain comes in fast and leaves fast but unfortunately that is not the case.

Lake Life...

Hi Friends!  I'm back today with challenge from Challenge Yourself.  Let me tell you this was a hard one for me.  I don't like to scrap about myself and had the whole layout planned in my head and then went back and saw the rules, eeek!  So I opened up one of my photo boxes and had 3 photos of myself from the eighties.

Soak Up the Sun...

Hi Friends!  I have a layout to share with you today for Life, Paper, Scrapbook color mood board challenge.   Of course I was inspired by the colors in the challenge they are some of my favorite.

I rolled the banner down after I inked it and stapled.  I used Martha Stewart Opaque markers to add the dots.

Hi Friends!  I'm so excited to be a guest designer for XOXO Scrapbooking for this month and the month of April!  We have a great layout to scrap lift this month and you will have until March 31 to get your entry in.  It is a cute little 4x4 grid arrangement.

Here's the layout to scrap lift-

Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge
Scrap or art journal about a favorite song from your teens.  You can scrap some of the lyrics, or the title, or a photo of the band...

For this challenge I chose a song from the Beach Boys "Surfin' USA".  This song came out in 1963 before I was even born but I loved it in my teens and I still love when I hear that song.  I thought my photo of my daughter and myself worked perfectly with the song as well!  If you look closely she is holding a banjo and we are in cutouts with a beachy theme.

I really hope you will join in the scraplift challenge this month at XOXO!

Have a Blessed Day!
