Rainy Day...

I've always wanted to do a rainy day layout and never had so when I went to visit my grand kids they were outside with the umbrella and I knew I had to get some photos.
I used the Sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap and instead of the flowers I decided to use raindrops instead.

I just had to use these cute little rainy ducks from Too Cute by Jessica.

Halloween..

Hello,  Have you ever cropped your photos and picked out your paper but then your stuck?   I'm very guilty of this.  I was inspired to use the sketch from Stick it Down and it worked out.  The pictures were so old that my grandsons have a new brother and they thought that Caleb was actually baby James.  I really have a lot to catch up on...lol.

The title was from Svg Cutting Files and that cool tree is from Miss Kate Cuttables

I flipped the sketch to make a 2 page spread.

Precious Baby Girl..

Today I have a sweet layout to share with you featuring my grand-daughter.  I was out of town when she was born and couldn't wait to see her.  I was so taken by how sweet she was and look at all the hair!  Love at first sight.
I used a sketch from Sketches in Thyme that suited my picture perfectly.
April 1 Sketch #367

The title Precious Baby Girl was from the Cricut Nursery Rhyme cartridge.

Tying in two different sketches to make a 2 page spread can work.  Don't be afraid when working with a sketch to adapt your style.  It's okay to change things up a bit.

My Favorite 3 Brothers

My Favorite 3 Brothers

Do you like to use 8 X 10 photos on your layouts?  I do!  Using large photos on a layout makes for a quick page so don't be afraid to pull those large photos out of your frames and scrap them.

The challenge over @ Sketches in Thyme was an enjoyable sketch and enabled me to pull out some of my older embellishments and use my Cricut using the basic shape feature.  Distressing layouts with ink can add a little interest to your layout as well.

As you can see I did flip the sketch.

Little Firecracker...

Hi Friends!  Thanks for stopping by.  Today's layout is for a challenge @ Sketch ~N~ Scrap.  I came across some photo's of my middle grandson Jordan when he was just 2 month's old.  I had forgotten I had even taken these pictures.  I just had to use the title svg cut from Miss Kate's Cuttables (Little Firecracker).  Isn't it just the perfect title for this page!  Love it!

What a View...

Hi Friends!  Here's a summer layout to share today.  At my mom''s place in Florida there is this tree house that overlooks the river and it has a great view.  Of course I'm obsessed with svg cuts and really loved this flamingo from KaDoodle Bug Designs (tropical birds).  I thought she was bright and cheery and made a perfect addition to my layout.  The sketch challenge is @ Scrapping Everyday Miracles.

Bev Code created this layout and it was a fun one!

Hooked on You...

Hi Friends!  I have the cutest page to share with you today.  I just love this adorable svg file from Cuddly Cute Designs (Hooked on You).  I have to say this is the first worm I have ever put on a layout and it might not be the last...hehehe.   Anyways the challenge for this layout was @
Scrap The Boys.  You were to scrap a photo with men/boys in your life and include you in the photo.  I scrapped a photo of myself and my oldest grandson Isaiah, now I know it was supposed to be a son or husband...but this was the first photo that I came across with me in it.

Explore,,,

Hi Friends!  I have a layout I did using pics from a vacation 3 years back.  I love Tennessee and all the waterfalls there!  The sketch challenge I used  was Stick it Down.  I used my own interpretation of the sketch using the cutest svg file (Rustic Bears) ...on sale now for $1 from Little Scraps of Heaven.

Senior...

Hi Friends!  I have a lot of 8 x 10 photo's that I need to scrap.  The one way I have found to do that is to create a border and a title and one will run either on the top or the bottom and the other along the sides of the page.  I think it's a nice way to have a full page without a lot of empty space.
For this challenge I used a sketch from Scrapping Everyday Miracles.   The layout was for a 5 x 7 photo but that is an interpretation and I decided I would change it for my purpose and use an 8 x 10 photo.

Cousins...

Hi Friends!  I'm playing along with the sketch challenge @ Sketch ~N~ Scrap.  For this challenge I rotated and flipped the sketch to accommodate my 5 x 7 photo.  We have taken many photos in this banyan tree over the years.  I would love to have a photo of them all in that tree now.

Sand Castle...

Hi Friends!  For today's layout I chose the challenge @ Scrap the Boys.  The challenge was to scrap the boys at the ocean.  I had a lot of fun with this layout using some adorable svg files from My Scrap Chick!

I just love the cute file from My Scrap Chick

Natural Beauty...

Hi Friends!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created for the sketch challenge @  Sketches In Thyme.
The sketch is for two photos but I used a 5 x 7 photo instead.  I had fun creating this layout of my oldest daughter.  She is a natural beauty not only on the outside but on the inside too!
