Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving my friends!  I hope your surrounded by family and friends!  This year is a quiet one for us.  All of our grown children are elsewhere this holiday so we will be eating out.  Then having a relaxing day at home.  I have chosen to look toward the positive and realize that this will be more and more the norm as our children are getting married.

You Did It!...

Hi Friends!  Wow where has this month gone???  I have been so busy taking care of family, church happenings and giving my scraproom a makeover, that the month has slipped by.  My hubby and I celebrated our 30th anniversary this week!  I can't believe that either...he's my high school sweetheart, my middle school crush!!!
I'm very excited and honored to be GDT @ Stick it Down for the last challenge of the month.  You will have until December 1 to get those entries in!  It's a 2 page layout but you know the drill you can do one side or the other.  I really hope you'll find time to fit it in your busy schedule to play along.

Fish Stories Told Here...

Hi Friends!  Thinking of  you all up north and the snow a lot of you have been receiving.  We are due to have a hard freeze here in South Florida this week.  At least it warms up though so I'm not complaining.
For my layout I chose a sketch by Scrap Much?!.  The layout  features my Dad and Hubby.

Coming Soon...

Hi Friends!  So happy to share my latest layout with for the challenge @ Colorful Creations.  The challenge is not only a color challenge but a sketch challenge too!  The reason I was excited about my layout is I have been wanting to scrap this picture for a long time.  I wanted to use the Cricut Cartridge 9 months on my page.  My picture is over two years ago and my precious little grandson will be 3 in May.  Wow time sure does fly!

As you can see I flipped the sketch.

I focused on the blue, yellow and gray and whites.
