Just Dream...

Hello I'm excited to share the newest challenge at XoXo Scrapbooking.  The February Scraplift challenge for this month is a lovely layout by DT member Heather.  I was immediately drawn to the heritage layout.  Although I did not use a heritage photo, I chose a photo from 2005....which feels like such a long time ago.

Here's my layout, I happened to go immediately to the same paper pack that Heather used in her example.  I looked through others but just came back to the My Minds Eye paper every time.

Cheerios...yummy

Hi Friends, happy Valentines day.  I have really enjoyed using the Bazzill Basics stitching templates.  I think of it as just adding another homemade element to your layout.  One of my goals this year is to use the scrapbook supplies I have had in my stash the longest.  Are you like me and it seems you tend to use newer supplies over the older stash?  Well I'm guilty and I have been trying to pull out and use the supplies I have had for along time.  One thing I have a lot of is the alphabet in sticker, chipboard ect. so you'll be seeing me trying to incorporate them where ever I can.
Today's layout I used a sketch from Artful Delight.  I rotated and interpreted the sketch to fit my photos.  I hope you enjoy!

Wet Fun!!!

Hi friends, I thought I would share a summer layout with you to warm you up!  My grandson loves anything to do with water.  I bought him a water table to splash in and of course we had to get the hose out to really get wet!
I have recently found Kiwi Lane Designs and just fell in love with their technique they call Framing which is a 4 step system: 1.Visualize 2.Cut & Trace 3.Replace 4.Cherish.  You really should hop over to their blog and see how the system works.  I originally had pinned a you tube video and noticed that they had other videos to watch.  I was hooked and watched all 6 videos multiple times.
The sketch is a two page layout but I only did one page.  I love the results and can't wait to try another one of their sketches!

Here's my layout-

 I
The paper pack I used had this coordinating paper and I saw splash's when I looked at it so I fussy cut all my splash's.

Hanging Out with Grandma...

Hello, I hear that those of you up north are getting slammed with snow.  I miss the snow but would only like to spend a little time in it.  I sure don't miss getting the ice and snow off of the windshield and having to heat up the car.  When I talk to my family up in Indiana I love to let them know what the weather is here in Florida.  I love to rub it in.
So while I'm relaxing in the air conditioning,  I have a layout to share. I used the sketch from Stuck on U Sketches.   My layout is of my mom and my son back in 2001.  It's fun to pull out those old photos and see how much everyone has changed.
